Today’s business world is changing at a speed that if you don’t keep up you will get left behind.
Technology has fuelled this giving us the approach of “work to live” instead of the mentality
of “live to work“.
The simplicity of computing and mobile apps allows businesses to access information fast and
efficiently whilst working from the comfort of your own homes. Thus giving flexible hours
instead of the traditional 40 hour work shift weekly. Many parents of a young family can now rotate their
hours around daily family commitments.
Technology changes have changed the rules of business. In the past we have travelled afar
to business meetings whereas right now we have access to live webcast, video conferencing online
from our very homes and this trend is growing. Web conferencing and telepresence technology are
enabling collaboration between individuals at different locations around the world. Although online
we can still do business face to face.
